Karen D. Snyder, M.D., PhD
Karen D. Snyder, M.D., joined Hauser Clinic in 2007 after completing residencies in general and child and adolescent psychiatry at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Snyder is board certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Snyder is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Denison University. Prior to entering medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch, Dr. Snyder completed her Master’s degree and PhD in History and Philosophy of Science at Indiana University.
Dr. Snyder is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, The Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Snyder has a particular interest in adolescent issues and the transition from adolescence to adulthood.
Dr. Snyder is a member of the Harris County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association, the largest county and state medical associations in the nation, committed to improving health for all Texans.
