Before taking Spravato®, you may want clear answers to your questions, like “How many weeks long is a Spravato® treatment? Spravato® follows a structured schedule so you know how many weeks you will visit and how your plan will evolve as you improve. Our team will guide you through each step, help with insurance questions, and make scheduling straightforward.
At Hauser Clinic & Associates, we offer a dedicated Spravato® program with experienced prescribers and nursing support. Our clinicians bring backgrounds in higher levels of care and addictions, and we will coordinate your plan so you feel confident about what happens in week one, week four, and beyond.
Your treatment begins with a four-week induction phase. You will come in twice per week during weeks one through four, then transition to once-a-week visits for weeks five through eight. By the end of week eight, your clinician evaluates your progress and decides with you whether to continue and how to pace future visits. These phases align with medication guidance and are designed to help you build and stabilize improvement.
What this means for you: plan on eight weeks of structured care to start, four weeks at two visits per week, then four weeks at one visit per week. Each Spravato appointment includes an in-office observation, and you must arrange for a ride home after each session. Our staff can help you plan transportation and timing around work or family responsibilities.
If you and your clinician decide to continue your esketamine therapy, you move into maintenance. From week nine onward, visits are typically every two weeks or once a week. The goal is to find the least frequent schedule that maintains your results, which may extend for additional weeks or months. Duration depends on your goals, daily functioning, and symptom stability. Your plan remains flexible and personalized, and we will adjust it as your needs change.
A typical Spravato® session includes a brief check-in, dosing with esketamine nasal spray under supervision, and observation before discharge. You will rest comfortably while our team monitors you and answers questions. If a session is missed, we reassess and adjust the upcoming schedule to keep you on track. Our nurse practitioner, Sarah Fedak, is part of your care team and will help you navigate dose, frequency, and next steps.
Now that you know how many weeks long a Spravato® treatment is, we can help you plan your therapy timeline and guide you every step of the way. We will schedule your first eight weeks and set expectations for maintenance. Our team will also review coverage and any pre-treatment requirements that your insurer requests.
